The G.F.D. participated in the first ever annual Granum Fair that was co-ordinated by Councillor Anita Walker. All the volunteer organizations were present at this evening event which took place at the Blunden Memorial Hall on Friday April 08, 2005. The G.F.D. provided blood pressure readings, and the Town of Granum supplied beef-on-a-bun and refreshments free of charge. Several draws also took place with items donated by merchants in the Granum and Claresholm areas. The event was well attended by residents of the area including guests from England who really liked our little town and may be moving here this summer.
